About this blog:

On this blog I’ll mostly be posting film reviews from a Christian perspective. Personally I like to know what I’m letting myself in for when I go to see a film, i.e. whether it will be compatible with my Christian faith. Although the Catholic Bishops of the United States have an excellent website on which they review every major film that is released in the US, we don’t have the equivalent in the UK. Not that I will be reviewing every film that comes out! But hopefully I can make a small contribution, so don’t forget to check Faithfull Films etc. when you’re thinking of going to the cinema…

Submission of Reviews:

I will be happy to consider posting reviews by other people. They must include consideration of the film from a Christian perspective and must flag up issues or content of particular interest to Christians. I’d appreciate it if you could lay them out with information and format of the posted reviews, including a YouTube embed code for the trailer video at the end (if available) and also attaching a poster from Wikipedia (if available).

Please send to: CorinnaTAuthor at gmail.com. Many thanks!

The display of film posters on this site is understood to count as fair use since they are used to identify the film in question.

About me:

Corinna Turner is the author of the ‘I Am Margaret’ books, a dystopian series for Young Adults (and older adults!) with a strong Christian theme. For more info see: Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com.

She has been writing since she was fourteen and likes strong protagonists with plenty of integrity. She has an MA in English from Oxford University, but has foolishly gone on to work with both children and animals! Juggling work with the disabled and being a midwife to sheep, she spends as much time as she can in a little hut at the bottom of the garden, writing.

She is a Catholic Christian with roots in the Methodist and Anglican churches. A keen cinema-goer, she lives in the UK with her Giant African Land Snail, Peter, who has a six inch long shell and an even larger foot!
